Hold a bachelors degree, in any area, from an accredited college or university. Degrees from    accredited foreign institutions are acceptable.
If your degree is from an accredited foreign institution, you must submit a transcript translated    into English, showing the official university seal.
Educational credentials can be submitted when applying to the exam or at a later date. The    educational credentials must qualify in order to be certified.
Candidates who hold an associate's degree or who have extensive experience in option trading    may apply.

Possess a bachelor's degree plus two years of work experience in Option trading. Or
Possess an associate's degree plus four years of work experience in Option trading.

The (COT) exam is a prepaid event and all fees are due at the time of registration.
